| In the south of Italy, in Apulia region, in the province of Lecce, Country House Villa Fiore is waiting for you between fruits trees, palms and citrus grovcs. A jewel of “living in the countryside” in Negroamaro area where you can enjoy nature’s smell winking at Salento seaside.
Villa Fiore is an ancient mansion where Taurino family enjoyed summer days in the peace of countryside.
Under the arcade, where our hosts enjoy breakfast, you can hear the little bell which in ancient times called babies for lunchtime.
In the house you can find many different types of rooms, all with bathroom. In the citrus grove there are some lodging where you can find more relax and privacy.
The days in Villa Fiore can be spent as you wish, according to your programme and to your travelling way.
The day begins with a delicious breakfast: there is a wide range of savoury and sweet flavours: marmalades, fruits, biscuits, “frise”, and many other products made by traditional receipts received by our grandma.
There is a living room where listening to music and reading is a must, where you can learn about Salento area, its culture, its art and its traditions.
The garden is an ideal location where you can lie in the sun, walk or swim in the pool. In the same location the host family will give you some surprises with special events , i.e. a “frisellata day”
All around the villa there is a wonderful world you can discover: Lecce, the main city of baroque style (15 km), the beaches of Ionian sea (20 km) or Adria sea ( 10 km); moreover you can give a look to some small villages or go by bike in the countryside along olive groves or vineyards; you can also take a train of ancient railway company and leave for a little travel along the ancient merchant’s ways. |
